EmSella Chair FAQs
What is Emsella and how does it work?
Emsella is a non‑invasive treatment that uses High‑Intensity Focused Electromagnetic (HIFEM) technology to induce thousands of supramaximal pelvic floor muscle contractions per session. Each 28–30 minute treatment is roughly equivalent to performing 11,000 Kegel exercises.
Who can benefit from Emsella?
Women: Addresses urinary incontinence (stress, urge, mixed), postpartum pelvic weakness, menopause-related weakness, sexual dysfunction, and even orgasmic issues
Men: Helps with incontinence, erectile dysfunction, penile rigidity, and post-prostate surgery recovery
What does the treatment feel like?
It’s painless. Most people feel a gentle tingling or vibration and noticeable pelvic floor muscle contractions. You can remain dressed for the treatment and simply sit on the chair
When will I notice results?
Many report improvements within 1–3 sessions, with optimal benefits seen several weeks post-treatment. Some noticed results as quickly as 24 hours after the first session
How long do results last? Is maintenance needed?
Results can last up to 6 months to a year, depending on individual factors. Maintenance sessions (every 3–6 months) are often recommended to sustain strength
